Technology has slowly seeped into just about every part of our lives. It washes our clothes and dishes, keeps us entertained, and gets us where we need to go. Yes, we still have to work, and it still takes time to commute, but overall it has made a lot of things easier. One of those things is shopping.
Two hundred years ago we had general stores. If the store didn't have what you needed, chances are you weren't going to get it. Later on came a variety of stores such as shoes, hats, books, and department stores. This increased the options, but they were still somewhat limited.
Today, however, we shop online as well as in the brick-and-mortar stores. Just about everything can be found online, from national sports memorabilia to ant farms.
